Tasting Notes
On the nose, the wine presents a complex bouquet of dark cherry, ripe raspberry, and crushed violet, with subtle undertones of white pepper and toasted oak. The palate is elegant and well-structured, showcasing layers of refined red fruit and fine-grained tannins. The finish is lengthy and smooth, with a lingering whisper of spice.
Winemaking
The grapes were hand-harvested from Temple Family Vineyards on October 30, 2023. Following a three-day cold soak, the fruit was fermented in a one-ton vessel. The wine was aged for 22 months in 100% once-used French oak barrels.Suggested Food Pairings
